Park City Gardens was established in 1983 and is the local expert on high altitude gardening in northern Utah and the Rocky Mountain west. Our slogan, "We Know What Grows", has been earned through years of gardening experience by our staff, as well as compiling research and input from local, longtime gardeners in the community.
Meeting the challenges of the short planting season at high altitude and the multiple micro-climates that come with mountain living is our expertise. Park City Nursery's focus from inception has been finding and providing trees, shrubs and flowers that will perform well here.
"We love nothing more than showing customers that they can be successful gardeners at high altitude. Our average customer is dealing with a myriad of gardening challenges: Intense sun and wind exposure; alkaline soil with rocks and heavy clay; wetlands or dry 'sage country' -- assisting them match the right plant to the right place is what sets us apart."
Our Commitment to Quality
Park City Gardens brings in plants from the best local and regional growers and we value our long-time relationships with vendors. We are selective in what we buy and our customers expect us to have the nicest product and most interesting variety.
Our Offering
Park City Gardens offers other unique products and special services to our customers in addition to our plants. Some of the most popular are our signature wildflower seed blends, including only varieties adapted to the area; our pre-potting program where our designers plant your containers for you; and our holiday decorations with our in-house made wreaths and garlands and Christmas tree delivery service.
The Garden Store holds all of our seeds and bulbs, along with fertilizers, tools and supplies; stocking only quality items that hold up to hard work. Park City Nursery has been the premier Utah distributor of Swiss-made, Felco garden tools for 20 years.
Located on 6 acres with streams and woodlands just a couple miles down the road from Old Town Park City, the Park City Nursery is committed to offering a garden sanctuary to our community as well as hosting private events. Our business resides in historical buildings, each with their own story, dating to our earliest pioneer settlers
